At The Vintage Motorcycles, international shipping is executed through a controlled and professional logistics protocol designed specifically for high-value vintage motorcycles. Whether shipping a pre-war European single or an American V-twin from our vintage motorcycles for sale, we ensure mechanical protection, documentation accuracy, and customs compliance at every stage.

We offer two primary international transport methods:
Sea Freight: Approx. 32 Days
The most cost-efficient and commonly selected method. Motorcycles are containerized and secured in custom-built wooden crates. Ideal for collectors who prioritize value without urgency.
Air Freight: Approx. 3-4 Days
Significantly faster and recommended for time-sensitive acquisitions, exhibitions, or events. Air freight costs are substantially higher but drastically reduce transit time and handling stages.
We advise clients based on destination, urgency, and insurance valuation. Our team regularly ships motorcycles purchased from our classic motorcycle inventory to collectors worldwide.

The motorcycle is transferred to our trusted international freight forwarder.
The motorcycle is secured inside a custom-built wooden export crate designed specifically for international transport.
The objective is zero movement during transit. The same mechanical care used during our vintage motorcycle restoration work is applied during preparation for shipping.
Sea freight departures occur weekly. Once the shipment is onboard, all shipping documentation and tracking details (for Air Freight) are provided to the client.

These documents allow the client to clear customs, register the motorcycle and obtain collector or historical vehicle registration where applicable. So far, all motorcycles we have delivered to customers worldwide have been easily registered with new license plates, without any complications.
