This perspective is rooted in our family's own history. Our story began in 1951, when our grandfather was selected by the French administration to receive formal training as an Mechanical Engineer (Ingénieur Mécanicien). He specialized in maintaining military vehicles, acquiring advanced mechanical knowledge at a time when professional automotive training was exceptionally rare in Vietnam.

Following the political changes of the 1950s, he continued his career as a military mechanic, maintaining and repairing a wide range of European and later American vehicles. These years gave him extensive hands-on experience with engines, drivetrains, electrical systems, precision machining, and mechanical troubleshooting, laying the foundation for our family's technical expertise.
In the 1960s, he was selected by U.S. military authorities to receive specialized automotive and mechanical training in the United States. After returning to Saigon, he worked as a master mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing American military vehicles, applying the advanced techniques and engineering practices he had learned abroad. The knowledge and discipline he gained during this period became the cornerstone of our family's commitment to quality craftsmanship and technical excellence, values that continue to guide us today.
After the Vietnam War ended in 1975, our grandfather rebuilt his life from the ground up. Leaving Saigon, he settled in Can Tho and opened a small repair workshop specializing in motorcycles, automobiles, and other mechanical equipment. What began as a humble local garage gradually earned a reputation for honest workmanship, technical skill, and meticulous attention to detail.
In 1986, our family's work entered a new chapter as we expanded beyond mechanical repair into the sourcing, collecting, restoration, and supply of vintage motorcycles. This marked the beginning of our specialized vintage motorcycle business, building on the mechanical knowledge and workshop experience developed over the previous decades. We began locating historic European and American motorcycles from across Vietnam, preserving machines that might otherwise have been lost, dismantled, or forgotten.
Those values were passed to the second generation, our father, who inherited not only the workshop but also decades of accumulated mechanical knowledge. As Vietnam gradually opened to international trade during the 1980s and 1990s, he recognized something that few others did: hidden across Vietnam were countless historic European and American motorcycles that had quietly survived decades of change.
Rather than allowing these machines to disappear, he began locating, preserving, collecting, and restoring them. Over the years, our workshop built one of Vietnam's largest private stocks of vintage motorcycles and original parts, carefully sourcing machines from collectors, families, old estates, and forgotten storage buildings throughout the country.
By 2004, our vintage motorcycle business had begun reaching collectors beyond Vietnam. As the Internet became increasingly accessible, we began using EC21 as an early online marketplace to showcase our motorcycles and connect with international buyers. At this stage, we did not yet have a dedicated website; EC21 provided a practical way for our family business to present its collection to collectors overseas. This marked an important transition from a primarily local business into an internationally connected vintage motorcycle dealership.
Today, we proudly represent the third generation of our family business. While technology has changed dramatically over the decades, our philosophy has remained exactly the same: every motorcycle deserves respect, every restoration deserves patience, and every customer deserves complete honesty.
Our online presence developed gradually alongside the business. After our early experience with online marketplaces such as EC21, we eventually established a dedicated website to present our motorcycles, restoration work, and historical knowledge to collectors worldwide. In 2026, we began a new phase of digital development, significantly expanding our use of modern digital tools and AI-assisted technology to organize, document, and present our growing body of historical and technical information. The technology is new, but the knowledge behind it has been accumulated by our family for generations.
